Who this is for

EdhuruCloud is used by schools, preschools and tuition centres in the Maldives. The school decides who gets an account and what is recorded. We store and look after that information for the school, and we only use it to run the service.

What we keep

Names, classes, attendance, marks, homework, fees and payments, messages between parents and staff, health notes and allergies the school chooses to record, and the phone numbers or email addresses people sign in with. We also keep simple logs of sign-ins and changes so the school can see who did what.

Who can see it

Each school’s records are kept apart from every other school inside the database. Within a school, people see only their part: a parent sees their own children, a teacher sees the classes they teach, and staff see only what the principal allows. Salaries and expenses are visible to the principal only.

Where it is stored

On servers run by Supabase in Mumbai, India, the closest region to the Maldives. Information is encrypted when it travels between your device and our servers.

What we never do

We do not sell information, show advertising, or use children’s records for anything other than running the school’s account.

Keeping and deleting

The school can ask us to export all of its records at any time. When a school leaves, we hand over its data and then delete it. Parents and staff who want something corrected should ask their school first.
